Robin is the founder of Psychology Plus. The office has been in the same location since 1986 and Robin has been a Registered Psychologist since 1983.

Robin has been qualified as an expert Witness at Trials in Family Court, Provincial Court and court of Queen's Bench (Calgary, Edmonton and Drumheller).

Over the years Robin has organized several dozen conferences and has been actively involved in learning about advances in the field of Psychology. She continues to attend several conferences each year, to read the professional literature, and to actively maintain a network of consultants, colleagues and resource people in related professions.

This learning has been shared with thousands of other professionals by means of consulting, teaching and organizing meetings and conferences. Robin was the Conference Co-ordinator of the Canadian Society for Clinical Hypnosis -Alberta Division for over twelve years.

She wrote, and taught for many years, the CSCH-AD's first curriculum on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Dissociation.

Robin has frequently been asked to be a guest speaker at seminars and conferences all over the world. Robin has been on the Faculties of the Canadian Society of Clinical Hypnosis (CSCH-AD) for over 20 years and the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISST&D) for many years. She has been a keynote speaker in Australia, New Zealand, the United States and many provinces in Canada.

Robin has also provided professional consultations to other mental health professionals for more than three decades.

In the field of Dissociative Disorders, Robin has been on the Faculty of the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation for many years. She has provided consultation for professionals working in the field of Dissociative Disorders since 1990. Robin brought in international speakers, who specialize in the treatment of Dissociative Disorders, to Calgary for many of the Conferences that she organized. She has also been invited to speak to interested groups of professionals throughout Alberta and in Saskatchewan. She has appeared on CBC television and CBC radio many times.
