Robin M. Burgh Wetherley - B.Sc., Dip. Ed., M.Ed.

Registered Psychologist since 1983.

Appointment: Monday to Wednesday 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM.

Reta Green

Reta is a registered Clinical Psychologist. She is well-known for her expertise in relationship counselling and marital therapy. Reta has attended intensive training from some of the best leaders in couples therapy, and has developed her own unique style of working with relationships. Her focus goes beyond the day to day complaints in a relationship to the “real issues,” such as betrayal, addictions, resentments and secrets. Her approach has been described by clients as “compassionate, powerful and direct.”

Reta has over 25 years of experience working with all aspects of adult concerns, including attachment issues, trauma, depression, anxiety, conflict, loss, separation, and divorce. She has also completed extra training in the field of addictions and compulsive behavior. This includes both substance addictions, drugs and alcohol, and process addictions, which include unhealthy relationships with sex, work, gambling, and food. She is knowledgeable about addiction assessments and referrals to treatment centers in Alberta and Canada. 

Reta has been involved with Canada’s Veterans Affairs for several years doing comprehensive PTSD assessments and programming with Korean war veterans and military personnel returning from Bosnia, Croatia, etc. Reta utilizes Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to treat trauma, stress, and anxiety in these individuals. She has also done counseling with the spouses of these individuals.

Marie Trottier

Marie is a Registered Psychologist. She provides therapy to families, couples, adults and mature adolescents who are experiencing emotional challenges, relationship issues and personal struggles. She offers therapy for anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem and other mental health challenges that negatively impact peoples’ lives. Marie has extensive professional development in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Conflict Management.

In therapy, Marie uses an integrated approach that draws from CBT, Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction, Interpersonal Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and other proven therapeutic approaches. She sees individuals and situations as unique and as such requiring an individual treatment plan for addressing specific needs.

Marie recognizes the value of positive psychology with a solution-orientated, problem solving approach. She believes in helping clients to access their personal resources and wisdom while working to achieve their goals. Marie believes that therapy is a process to help people who are stuck at a place in their life journey and with assistance are able to move through this block in the path toward further development and growth.

Marie also counsels mature adolescents and young adults in the area of career decision making and adults who are going through changes and transitions in their present careers. In the case of adolescents and young adults, she offers an individualized program that is streamlined to meet the needs of each client.

Heather Heywood

Heather is a Registered Psychologist experienced and trained to offer a wide range of psychological services to children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families. Her genuine passion and care for facilitating positive change in her clients’ lives fuel the energy she brings to the practice of counselling and psychology.

Dr. Yvonne Hindes

Dr. Yvonne Hindes is a Registered Psychologist who has extensive experience completing psychological assessments for children, adolescents, and adults. The assessments cover a range of areas including IQ, learning, attention, Autism, and other emotional and behavioural difficulties. She has a passion for supporting individuals at school and in daily life.

Illisha Patterson

Illisha is a registered psychologist who truly enjoys working with adults, adolescents and children. Her work history and volunteer experiences have highlighted the diversity of people and she strives to be non-judgmental and respectful of the beliefs, morals, culture and values of all people. Illisha views people’s challenges from a biopsychosocial, family/client centered, trauma informed lens and strives to choose evidence based therapeutic approaches that best fit the needs of the individuals that she sees. Illisha has specialized training in CBT, EMDR, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy and Play Therapy. She often incorporates Meditation/Relaxation and Mindfulness into her treatment plans. Illisha has experience helping people with multiple challenges but the most common include chronic pain, workplace issues, communication/interpersonal challenges, career transitions, trauma (including PTSD), depression, anxiety, grief and loss. Illisha feels the sorrow of people and also shares in their joy and excitement when they succeed and experience improvements in their quality of life.
